restaurant NOMA 2.0
FORMANI opens doors of 'world's best restaurant'
NOMA restaurant was chosen as the best restaurant in the world four times. In 2016, chef René Redzepi closed the doors of the first NOMA. But last year, the new NOMA 2.0 was opened in Copenhagen, Denmark. In the new restaurant, doors are literally being opened by FORMANI.

Project NOMA 2.0
The new home of the restaurant is a project of the BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group. BIG is a Copenhagen, New York and London Based group of architects, designers, urbanists, landscape professionals, interior and product designers, researchers and inventors. For the interior design, BIG collaborate with the well-known Danisch architectural firm Studio David Thulsturp
The building's architecture
The new Noma is built between two lakes on the site of a protected ex-military warehouse. Central to the design was the idea of dissolving the restaurant’s individual functions and organizing them into a collections of separate yet connected buildings. The total 11 spaces are each tailored to their specific needs and built of the finest materials best suited for their functions.

Formani ONE by Piet Boon hardware series
The overall mood of the interior design is Scandinavian without any Nordic clichés, honest, simple and not over designed. To complete the design, they added the door fittings and bathroom accessories of the FORMANI ONE SERIES by Piet Boon architectural hardware series in satin black.
