New in Wyck: TUUR
Maastricht's Wyck district has a new contemporary catering formula: TUUR opened its doors this spring on the site of the much-loved Cinema Café. A cosy establishment with a trendy interior by Niels Maier, where you cannot make reservations but 'just' walk in at random and where the menu is never boring.
Chic but clear design
In terms of design TUUR is chic, but approachable for everyone. The former brown café had made room for a hip establishment that radiates spaciousness and has trendy furniture and accessories, combined with authentic details that you also see in a brown café. Huge wooden tables in combination with a trendy bar with marble on top. Light walls are making the area more spacious and details such as our ECLIPSE by David Rockwell doorhandle finishes the design with laconic and modern touch.

The ECLIPSE door handle has won the Red Dot Design Award 2021 in the ‘Product Design’ category. The Jury commented: ‘Ergonomically sophisticated and unconventional in its design, this door handle series proves equally impressive in practice.’ This door handle forms part of the complete ECLIPSE hardware collection, which consists of door fittings, window fittings, furniture fittings, and other accessories. Available in satin stainless steel, PVD satin black, bronze, PVD satin gold.
