O LOFOS, GREECE
A home shaped by landscape and craft
Set within the northern foothills of the Thrypti mountain on Crete’s eastern side, O Lofos is a contemporary retreat where nature and craftsmanship guide the architectural narrative. Designed by Block722, the residence spans 280 m² and unfolds across a gentle slope, offering a serene living environment surrounded by expansive views of mountains, plains, and the Mediterranean Sea.

Rooted in heritage
Pure and contemporary
Balancing modernity with organic simplicity, the architecture merges Scandinavian minimalism with Japanese influences — a hallmark of Block722’s sensibility. Clean, refined lines complement tactile materials, resulting in an atmosphere that feels both grounded and contemporary. Light becomes a guiding element: the powerful Greek sun shapes surfaces, reveals texture, and defines spatial transitions between indoors and outdoors. Each route through the home is carefully choreographed to frame vistas and support a slower, more mindful way of living.

INC – sculptural clarity in form
The INC by Piet Boon series is a natural fit within this design language. Its fluid, sculptural lines reflect the home’s blend of simplicity and refinement, while its soft geometry complements the tactile materials found throughout the residence. The hardware’s understated presence enhances the calm spatial rhythm and reinforces the project’s focus on craft, natural beauty, and timeless detailing.
