Colonial residences in Pasadena Bay
Pasadena Bay loges a series of finely crafted timber cottages that provide holiday residence with a relaxed pace reminicent of an earlier time. The cottages are grouped in a village cluster common with early colonial habitation of coastal settlements on the New Zealand coast.
Feel the connection
The iconic, gabled arch forms are extruded through the view axis to provide a range of habitation. They allow integration with the natural environment through the utilisation of protected porches and terraces, and flexible joinery arrangements to orientate to the sun or provide a range of shelter.
That maritime feeling
The combination of worked architectural metal work, with decortaive lighting and hardware in a subtle maritime style complement the crafted forms and reinforce the vernacular response. This contemporary interpretation from designer Christian Anderson of a historic habitation enhances a special charm and character of Pasadena Bay, which is reflected in the interior design.
